Christopher Columbus was conceived between 31 October 1450 and 30 October 1451, Genoa; passed on 20 May 1506, Valladolid) was an Italian traveler, guide, colonizer and resident of the Republic of Genoa.
Under the support of the Catholic Monarchs of Spain, he finished four voyages over the Atlantic Ocean. Those voyages, and his endeavors to set up lasting settlements on the island of Hispaniola, started the Spanish colonization of the New World.
In spite of the fact that Columbus was not the first European voyager to achieve the Americas (having been gone before by the Norse endeavor drove by Leif Ericson in the eleventh century, his voyages prompted the first enduring European contact with the Americas, introducing a time of European investigation, triumph, and colonization that went on for a few centuries.
These voyages had, in this manner, a tremendous effect in the chronicled improvement of the present day Western world. Columbus led the transoceanic slave exchange and has been blamed by a few students of history for starting the genocide of the Hispaniola locals. Columbus himself saw his achievements principally in the light of spreading the Christian religion.

Christopher Columbus's Book of Prophecies:
Reproduction of the Original Manuscript With English Translation 0th Edition.
Amazon Review:
Awesome book (excerpt) Columbus said: "It was the Lord who put into my mind (I could feel His hand upon me) the fact that it would be possible to sail from here to the Indies. All who heard of my project rejected it with laughter, ridiculing me. There is no questions that the inspiration was from the Holy Spirit, because he comforted me with rays of marvelous illumination from the Holy Scriptures, a strong and clear testimony from the 44 books of the Old Testament, from the four Gospels, and from the 23 Epistles of the blessed Apostles, encouraging me continually to press forward; and without ceasing for a moment they now encourage me to make haste." (Slightly different English translation than the one in this Amazon book, which I own, but the book says the same thing.)
